BILODEAU:
Gone. I was devout and now my innocence is
Gone. I lost my faith and all my reverence is
Gone. The emptiness inside of me continues growing.

Gone. The friend I used to have, and once respected...
Gone. The things we shared and kept our souls connected...
Gone. Do you expect me just to go on without knowing

Why keep praying? Why keep pleading?
Keep obeying you although my soul is bleeding?
Why keep kneeling? Why keep dreaming?
Keep appealing you to fin’lly hear my screaming?

Lord I beg you please to keep Simon from leaving.
I keep asking but it seems like no one’s there.
So in God’s name why should I keep on believing
In a God who will not answer this one prayer?

He is like an angel who has lost his way and
He is like a saint whose lost the will to pray and
He must come from heaven up above without exemption.

BILODEAU: He can’t leave. He just can’t. You can’t do this. Allow him stay. Here. In Roberval.

BILODEAU:
And if you let me, Lord I’ll lead him to redemption.

I’ll keep praying, I’ll keep pleading.
Keep obeying you although my soul is bleeding.
I’ll keep kneeling, I’ll keep dreaming.
Keep appealing you to fin’lly hear my screaming.

Lord I beg you please to keep Simon from leaving.
I’ll keep asking and keep hoping you are there.
In the name of God I’ll just keep on believing
In the hope that you might answer this one prayer!
